Kira and Briar AU where they’re a bit more beastly.

I’ve had the idea to make alternate path of versions of them for a while. It was when I thought of these kind of designs that I got really stoked about it and drew them immediately lol

The dark colours of Kira and Briar in constrast with the background and glowing eyes is really cool, don’t you think?

Have thought of some basic character lore for them of course. I feel both of them at their core are similar to their original counterparts, with a few twisted differences.

Kira:

  • Middle path alchemist (0-4-0).
  • Comes across as strange and a bit off. When she smiles (fangs and all), you get the feeling she definitely has suspicious motives.
  • Obsessed with creating the ultimate transformation potion, going as far as exploring chimerism.
  • Regard for lab safety and appearances is clearly minimal. She refuses to replace her cracked goggle lens, torn coat, AND ripped stockings.
  • Her monster form can shoot lasers from the mouth (borrowing ideas from an old piece).
  • Does not have a pet or Griff equivalent, sadly.

Briar:

  • Bottom path druid (2-0-4).
  • Serious and sometimes aggressive, but is easily placated by Kira and Obyn.
  • Unlike the OG, Poplust Briar is not afraid of going berserk with her powers.
  • Feels uneasy when she doesn’t have her wolf skin coat, as she treats it almost as an extension of herself.
  • Has a wolf form (similar to my headcanon for Obyn).
  • Her pet is still Longcat Obean (who isn’t any different from the OG).

Goes without saying that they love each other very much, even if it’s in their own way haha.
