Once in while I’ll check r/btd6 (aka the hellhole) for new fanart. I recently came across SakuraVibez’s pop gal Nova and thought her design was cool, so I drew her. ✨

Had extra fun with the colours for this piece. First time using gradient maps to add a cool effect, gonna try to use them more when I can.

For the album background I tried to emulate the (anime) pop art style. Something about dot screentones tickles my brain.

I came across a music player template and channelcaststation’s mikumikuplaylist animation while looking for inspiration which fit perfectly for Nova.

Drawing the guitar gave me time sweeper deja vu, and I even used the Faktam No Reystam font lol
