Galaxy Gardener Obyn 🌌🍄
Drew this cause I wanted to try some oil paint brushes and they’re pretty good, gonna use them for my next painting. I picked up a tip that I should be blending by adjusting the brush density (or amount of paint) instead of layer opacity which saved me heaps of fiddling with numbers.
This version of Obyn is in the same AU as Star Prince Jericho. He’s the aloof royal garderner and tends to all the gardens and strange greenhouse plants. Basically started with the NK merch design as the base and went from there.
I added a watermark to this piece, something I haven’t done for a very very long time. I’ve decided to get into the habit of signing my work after reading a Tumblr post. Putting my name to my art and making it difficult for AI is good enough reason for me.
